When you're a member of the Madison County Senior Center you're a member of a family. We are a small staff of six and take the time to get personally invested in the lives of the seniors who come to the center. We understand that as we age having someone to count on becomes increasingly important.

We can be that someone for you.

 

There's more than one way to become a member of the family! 

If you are under 60 but enjoy giving back to your community and have a heart for seniors we encourage you to come volunteer.

 

We are always in need of Center volunteers to help serve meals, visit with seniors, assist with fundraisers and other daily activities. Please bring your ideas! We welcome new programs!

 

If you are a local business or organization and would like to come on a monthly basis to sponsor a Bingo game and present information about your services to our seniors we'd love to hear from you. Please contact the Director Kelsey Tyner at (706) 795-6250 to schedule a visit.  

 

If you have availability from 9:45-11:30 am and would like to volunteer to be a Meals on Wheels driver please contact us! We are always in need of drivers, especially on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We will provide you with all the food and equipment to transport it, along with the meal route; all you need is a vehicle and a smile (you must also pass a background check)! You are the only visitor some of our Meals on Wheels clients get and trust us; they look forward to meeting you!
